Terms of engagement

These terms apply to professional audit and advisory services offered by Data Platformhub (“we”, “us”) for privacy control audits of consumer finance apps. By requesting or accepting an engagement, you agree to these terms together with any signed proposal or statement of work.

Services

We provide privacy control audits, consent and preference reviews, data subject rights audits, readiness walkthroughs, and related advisory work described in a written proposal. Website descriptions and price ranges are informational only and do not create a binding contract until both parties sign a proposal.

No online payments

This website does not process payments or run checkout. Fees are invoiced under the proposal. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer that can be accepted by clicking a button alone.

Client responsibilities

You provide timely access to systems, documentation, and knowledgeable staff needed for fieldwork. You confirm that granting read-only access is lawful and authorised. Delays in access may extend timelines and fees as set out in the proposal.

Confidentiality

Each party protects the other’s confidential information and uses it only to perform the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law or agreed in writing.

Deliverables and reliance

Reports and control maps are prepared for your internal compliance and product teams, and for sharing with regulators or partners only as the proposal allows. They are not a legal opinion or a certification of compliance with any statute.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any dispute resolution clause in a signed proposal.
